It's common courtesy/knowledge, but you should never upload another person's work without their permission. Even if you are stating that the work is not yours, it's not okay for you to go ahead and reupload/resubmit/repost. If you want to show your friends artwork that doesn't belong to you, you should just link them the original post that the artist posted at. It will help the artist be more noticed for THEIR work.
